Yuki Yamanaka is a half Japanese / half Thai DJ & Producer, born 1996, raised in Bangkok, Thailand and is best known by her stage name: YUKIO
YUKIO is undoubtedly one of the most exciting and energetic young DJ’s on the circuit.
Since 2012 Progressive House & Trance are at the heart of all things that define her.
Within a few months in early career, the young Japanese has achieved “The Best Creative ProPlugin DJ Award” becoming the youngest female DJ ever to win this award in Thailand and is currently supported by award-winning headphones brand: V-MODA, as a brand endorser.
With her remarkable talent and passion in electronic music, she became the youngest artist ever to perform at one of the biggest festivals in Thailand: S2O in 2015, the world’s first Songkran Electronic Dance Music Festival. Warming up for the likes of Afrojack, Andrew Rayel, Deadmau5, Jet- fire, Julian Jordan, Krewella, Thomas Newson, Yves V, Wolfpack, CARTEL (Kryder & Tom Staar) to just name a few.
Since then she has performed at several other music festivals in Bangkok such as: Life in Color, White Castle, Wetnation Unite with Tomorrowland, and Wipeout while holding a residency spot at Bangkok’s premium nightclub: Levels
It was just a matter of time before other clubs in the region are getting interested in her.
Towards the end of 2017 saw her traveling out of Thailand and perform at Pacha in Macau, Mois Club in Penang and Play Club in Kuala Lumpur.
She started off the year 2018 by performing at world top club #88 Skygarden in Bali and she will be seen playing many more shows in the region this year, she’s moving up the ladder fast!
